[color=#000000][size=4][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]檀头山这个名称的来历，宋宝庆《四明志》是这样记载的：“岛之山上，有一石坛，平如案，故名石坛山，俗称坛头山，谐音檀头山。”檀头山岛距大陆最近点[/size][/font][size=10.5pt][font=Times New Roman]8[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]公里[/size][/font][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]，从石浦港乘船，约[/size][/font][size=10.5pt][font=Times New Roman]30[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]多分钟便可到达岛中部的小沙码头。全岛原有[/size][/font][size=10.5pt][font=Times New Roman]10[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]个自然村，三千多人口，群众内迁石清后，现在大约还有几十位本土老人留守故土。外沙头浩大、开阔、气派，长约近两公里。骑自行车用中等速度需用[/size][/font][size=10.5pt][font=Times New Roman]15[/font][/size][font=宋体][size=10.5pt]分钟时间，面积如此之大，当称华东第一。外沙头的风貌原始古朴，沙滩中至今仍盛产沙蛤，外沙头空旷的沙滩，稀少的人群，对海滩生物绝少人工干扰，置身于此，贪图到的，是人与自然那份难得的和谐。里沙头是卵石滩，好看，但不大。精巧的卵石滩外，是一片海生动物极其丰盛的泥涂，涂中有蚶子、泥螺等珍贵海特产，来到这里，可以居石滩，观赶海，亦可以下泥涂，拾海珍，那个乐趣，绝对令人难以忘怀。最后千万别忘了去姊妹沙滩欣赏“沙埕龙井”的奇观。[/size][/font][/size][/color]
