The warmth we felt when giving thanks

We had a wonderful time for our Thanksgiving party on Saturday evening.
We divided the hall into 2 parts, one as working area and the other as eating area. Every participant was supposed to “work” first, since harvest is the product of hard working. First they had to drive a pumpkin “home” with a spoon and then they had to pick the apple from the “tree” with mouth. It was a difficult task and anyhow everyone thought out of way to get the task done.
Turkeys are not available in Hangzhou this year, so we just fed on illusions and drew a turkey with eyes blinded. Guessing words was also a very interesting game. We tried to find out why one team could be quicker than the other in guessing. After the dinner we sat around in the hall and introduced oneself to the other. Since it was Thanksgiving party, we all gave thanks, mostly to our mother. We felt the warmth arising inside us when giving thanks. That was what we meant the party to be.
